If I had to share just one film with future audiences it would be Stanley Kubrick's Dr Strangelove. This film has it all. A complex and intriguing plot, an unforgettable visual flair, stunning dialogue and the most eclectic and talented host of dramatic and comedic actors ever assembled. This multi-protagonist tale moves us inexorably toward its devastating conclusion whilst leaving no satirical stone unturned along the way. The message of the film and the reflections on the futility of war make it a must see for future audiences.
Q2 What excites you about the future of the moving image?
The new digital formats and cameras have the potential to simplify the film making process, making films less expensive whilst never sacrificing and at times such as low light situations improving a film's visual capacity.
