Michael Nyman

Composer Michael Nyman is perhaps best known for scoring the soundtrack to Jane Campion's 1993 award winning film The Piano - nominated for both a British Academy Award and a Golden Globe. He has collaborated with director Peter Greenway on no fewer then 11 films including The Draughtsman's Contract (1982) and received a CBE in 2008.
