Terence Davies

Director and screenwriter Terence Davies is best known for his two largely autobiographical films set in 1940s Liverpool; Distant Voices Still Lives and The Long Day Closes. His first documentary, titled Of Time and City, was featured out of competition at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival, and will be released by the BFI in September 2008.
