Marketing Assistant

A role in our Marketing team, supporting the Senior Marketing Manager in the promotion of our cultural programme of activity.

Salary: £18,231 — £21,135

The BFI is seeking an experienced marketing assistant to assist the Senior Marketing Manager and Marketing Advisors in the delivery of marketing projects across the cultural programmes, in particular for BFI distribution and DVD releases as well as BFI Player.

You will have proven experience of working in a marketing or communications role, with excellent administration skills. You will be working as part of a close-knit team, so an ability to maintain a friendly, tactful manner whilst under pressure is a must. You should be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge and interest in film and television, and have a strong commitment to continual professional development.

The successful candidate will have a keen attention to detail and excellent communication skills; a willingness to occasionally work outside of normal office hours; and experience working with a variety of software including databases, Adobe Photoshop, moving image software and all MS Office packages.
