Volunteer opportunities for the 58th BFI London Film Festival

8th – 19th October 2014

The BFI London Film Festival in partnership with American Express® is the UK’s biggest public film event, premiering around 248 feature films and 130 shorts from over 50 countries. It also provides a professional delegate service for members of the international film industry and international press as well as over 70 public, industry and educational events.

All this would not be possible without the support of our festival volunteers, who assist with various activities including hospitality, poster distribution, and providing support and information to delegates and audiences. The contribution of our volunteers helps make the festival happen.

We are seeking volunteers with excellent communication skills, a friendly manner and the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels. Some prior event or administrative experience is a bonus but not essential as we will provide opportunities to develop your skills.

Volunteers will be based at BFI Southbank (nearest station is Waterloo) but there may also be the opportunity to assist at some of the other festival venues, including those in Leicester Square. In return for your time we will provide an allowance for travel and food, plus a chance to enjoy the festival itself.

To be part of this year’s festival, please apply by completing our volunteer application form.

Applications close Friday 26 September. For any enquiries please contact festivalrecruitment@bfi.org.uk.

Thank you for your interest in the BFI London Film Festival.
