Partnerships
As the lead body for film in the UK, the BFI maintains a number of creative, strategic and funding relationships with industry and key stakeholders investing in education and audiences, filmmaking and film heritage.
The Partnerships team supports and develops these relationships and leads on the distribution and management of Grant-in-Aid and Lottery funding to ensure that partners are fit for purpose and give value for money for and on behalf of the BFI.
We are always keen to discuss, explore and develop new UK and international partnerships to support and promote the future of film. Please contact us on partnerships@bfi.org.uk.
Audience Fund
As described in Film Forever, the BFI wants to encourage people to build a lifelong relationship with film, to help build audiences for a broader range of films across all platforms and ensure that film culture can be accessed and enjoyed by everyone across the UK. Our plans for 2013-17 contain a range of interlinked strategies to help us achieve these aims.
At the heart of this strategy is our Audience Fund, which is a significant investment of £22 million over four years to boost audience choice across the UK. The four elements of this investment are: the UK Audience Network for Film, the Film Festival Fund and, launching later in 2013, the Programming Development Fund and the Community Venues Fund.
