The auditorium lends itself to conferences with 14 tiers of raked seats, enabling all viewers to enjoy full, unobstructed views of the screen.
The BFI IMAX's 480-seat auditorium features the largest cinema screen in the UK - an incredible 20 by 26 metres. It has 14 tiers of raked seats, enabling all viewers to enjoy full, unobstructed views of the screen.
The auditorium lends itself wonderfully to conferences. We have front projection and 2 surround sound systems creating a complex sound world around you thus enabling your delegates to be totally immersed in your presentation.
Bringing in additional cameras gives you the opportunity of having your speakers projected on to the screen.
Apart from 15 perf/70mm (IMAX format) 2D and 3D, 35mm and 70mm projectors, we also have facilities for other projection. We have recommend, proven suppliers and event organisers.
Temporary stages can be erected in the front of the auditorium.
