BFI Governor Election 2009

The results from the recent election for a new BFI Governor have been confirmed by Electoral Reform Services, who ran the ballot on my behalf. The votes cast were:

Candidate               Total votes cast

Michael Clifford       423
Robert Moreland     328
Mark Newell           387
Keith Withall           132
Cy Young               528

Cy Young was therefore elected.

The appointment of Cy Young as a Governor is subject to the approval of the BFI’s Board of Governors, and to ratification by the UK Film Council.
