Support us

The BFI is a registered charity founded by Royal Charter in 1933. In 2009, there were over 1.3 million visitors to BFI Southbank, with over 130,000 visitors to the BFI London Film Festival and more than 13 million visitors online and using our archive and library resources.

Each year, a large part of our funding comes from private sources. We depend on the generous support of individuals, trusts, foundations and corporations to help us continue to reach the widest audience, promote the best in cultural film and preserve the world's largest film and television archive.

Every gift, at every level, makes a difference.
