License films from the BFI sales catalogue for your media in your territory.

The BFI holds and manages the UK and international rights to 600+ shorts, feature and documentary films, that represent some of the best independent and arthouse British cinema across the ages.

The catalogue includes classics by Peter Greenaway, Derek Jarman, Ridley Scott, Tony Scott, Terence Davies, Bill Douglas, Jane Campion, Alex Cox and Stephen Frears, as well as major restorations from the BFI National Archive with new scores.

The BFI also manages the film and archive collections of various major British institutions, including British Screen, British Council, Arts Council of England, British Transport and General Post Office, all of which are available for individual or package licences.

In the UK, BFI distribution’s catalogue also includes a selection of the best international cinema, including titles by Akira Kurosawa, Jean Renoir, Ingmar Bergman, Carl Th. Dreyer and Pier Paolo Pasolini, as well as a selection of current features and documentaries.
