Digital Preservation Engineer
John is at the heart of the BFI National Archive’s transition to digital technology, designing and implementing file-based workflows for film and video. His latest project is to integrate the digital systems used at the BFI in the last 10 years into our new Digital Preservation Infrastructure, achieving an efficient path for our valuable media to safe digital storage.
Prior to the BFI he worked in projects and maintenance roles for London facilities houses in video and telecine.
