Sonia Genaitay

Sonia is a curatorial archivist at the BFI National Archive. She graduated from the L. Jeffrey Selznick School of Film Preservation in Rochester, NY, and has been at the BFI since 2002, initially as a moving image archivist and later as a curator of fiction films. Her interests are in film restoration, early colour processes and issues relating to collection’s care and management. She has written for Sight & Sound and contributed to the Journal of British Cinema and Television.
