UK Delivery & Postage Rates

Which countries are included in the UK?

The following countries are included in our definition of the UK for delivery purposes: England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and all BFPO addresses. For deliveries to the Republic of Ireland and Channel Islands, please see our Europe delivery rates.

How will it be delivered?

All items delivered to a UK address will be despatched using Royal Mail First Class.

How long will it take to arrive?

For despatch to a UK address, delivery time is 7-10 working days from receipt of order.

Delivery times to BFPO addresses are dependent on British Forces Post Office schedules.

What are the VAT charges ?

VAT at 17.5% is charged on all products except books. VAT is also charged on postage and packaging. VAT is not included in the basic p&p rates given, but added at point of purchase (it is calculated on a pro-rata basis according to items in delivery).

What are the postage charges?

Up to 0.25kg = £2.00
Up to 0.5kg = £3.50
Up to 0.75kg = £5.00
Up to 1kg = £6.50
Over 1kg = £8.25

European Delivery & Postage Rates

How will it be delivered?

All items delivered to a European address will be despatched using Airmail.

How long will it take to arrive?

For despatch to a European address, delivery time is 6-10 working days from receipt of order.

What are the VAT charges ?

No VAT is charged on orders to non-EU European countries*.

If you have valid EU VAT number no VAT is charged on the order.

If you are in the EU and do not have a valid EU VAT number VAT at 17.5% is charged on all products except books. VAT is also charged on postage and packaging. VAT is not included in the basic P&P rates given, but added at point of purchase (it is calculated on a pro-rata basis according to items in delivery).

Up to 0.75kg = £5.50
Up to 1kg = £6.50
Up to 1.5kg = £8.50
Up to 2kg = £11.50
Up to 2.5kg = £14.00

Up to 4.5kg = £24.50
Up to 5kg = £27.00
Over 5kg = £50.00

Rest of the World Delivery & Postage Rates

How will it be delivered?

All items delivered to a Rest of World address will be despatched using Airmail.

How long will it take to arrive?

For despatch to a Rest of World address, delivery time is 8-12 working days from receipt of order.

What are the VAT charges ?

No VAT is charged on orders outside the UK and Europe.

What are the postage charges?

Up to 0.25kg = £3.50
Up to 0.5kg = £6.00
Up to 0.75kg = £8.50
Up to 1kg = £12.00
Up to 1.5kg = £16.00
Up to 2kg = £22.00
Up to 2.5kg = £27.00
Up to 3kg = £32.00
Up to 3.5kg = £37.00
Up to 4kg = £42.00
Up to 4.5kg = £47.00
Up to 5kg = £52.00
Over 5kg = £75.00

Refund/Cancellation

We shall endeavour to dispatch goods within 7-10 working days of receipt of your order. Any item purchased from us, which proves faulty on our equipment, will be exchanged. We retain the right not to fulfil any order.

DVDs cannot be returned or refunded for reasons specifying format. Please be sure before you order any items from us that you are able to play them.

Lost & Missing Deliveries

If you have not received your package after 21 days, please send us an email at filmstore@bfi.org.uk quoting your order number and we will take appropriate action.
