MOFILM has been heralded as a revolution in user-generated video content. Their latest competition sees them teaming up with thirteen major international brands with prizes worth well over US$200,000 - including tickets to exclusive screenings at The Times BFI 53rd London Film Festival. The competition requires you to read a brief submitted by each of the brands and create a video advert. You don't need any special training or skills - just a good idea, a video camera (which could be a mobile phone) and some enthusiasm. Check out the website at www.mofilm.com for full details and to get further inspiration! |

Competition
After premiering at last year's London Film Festival, Shifty went on to receive huge critical acclaim and was nominated for five British Independent Film Awards. Boasting stunning performances from a cast of rising stars including Riz Ahmed (Dead Set, Britz) and Daniel Mays (Atonement & Vera Drake), Shifty is a sharply scripted, witty, urban thriller that follows themes of friendship and loyalty over the course of 24 hours in the life of a young drug dealer, the charismatic "Shifty". For your chance to win a DVD copy of Shifty, a signed poster and a bundle of other past-LFF Metrodome DVD titles, just answer the following question: Shifty was the debut feature of which up-and-coming British director? Send your answers to LFF.Competitions@bfi.org.uk with 'Shifty Comp' in the subject field, and your answer and full name in the body of the email. The competition closes on 4 September 2009. One entry per person. Shifty is available on DVD and Blu-ray now. For more information and to view the trailer visit www.shiftyfilm.com |
