Highlights from the 22nd London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival are touring the nation this summer, coming to a cinema near you.

In August, Nottingham's Broadway, Filmhouse Edinburgh, GAZE Film Festival in Dublin, Chichester Film Festival, Tyneside Cinema in Gateshead, Phoenix Arts Centre in Leicester, Cornerhouse Manchester and Glasgow Film Theatre will all show a selection of films from this year's LLGFF.

The films on tour are Isaac Julien's Derek, Bruce LaBruce's Otto; Or, Up With Dead People, Breakfast with Scot, Finn's Girl, Spider Lilies, Before I Forget, She's A Boy I Knew and Gregg Araki's Smiley Face.

The Festival website will continue to hold reviews, discussions, podcasts, trailers, interviews and Festival photos and you will find updated information on the touring films and participating venues.

BFI Southbank: Out at the Pictures

Enjoy films that might not otherwise find a place outside the London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival in our dedicated monthly LGBT slot. In August, Out at the Pictures will bring you Unveiled, an intelligent thriller from the director of this year's LLGFF Closing Night film (Vivere) and Nagisa Oshima's Gohatto.

BFI Filmstore

Take the Festival Home with this selection of BFI DVDs, focusing on queer culture, including three Derek Jarman films which have been digitally restored and re-mastered by BFI National Archive. The BFI also publishes a wide range of film-related books, including Queer As Folk, part of our BFI TV classics range.
