As part of the global celebrations of the centenary of Ingmar Bergman (1918-2007), the BFI will be making many of his films available on DCP for theatrical bookings in 2018.
Titles available include major rediscoveries such as The Touch (1971), starring Elliot Gould, Bibi Andersson and Max von Sydow and The Magic Flute (1974), alongside some of Bergman’s best-known features such as The Seventh Seal (1957), Wild Strawberries (1957) and Persona (1966).
The Magic Flute will be released across the UK on 23 March 2018. The Touch will be released on 16 February 2018, and the other Bergman DCPs will be available to book from this same date.
