Ex-con Alex spends his days working as an assistant in a Viennese brothel where he falls for Ukranian hooker Tamara. Together they plot to escape to a new life but their plans unexpectedly clash with the lives of a police officer and his wife. Spielmann creates a tense and surprising portrait of vengeance and redemption, and a journey into the darkest forests of human nature, in which violence and beauty exist side by side.
