This Iranian drama follows the aftermath of a man's murder on suspicion of stealing a horse and how his wife and child deal with the tragedy.  While Sanam sets out to try and prove her husband's innocence through the archaic Iranian legal and political systems, her son reacts in a different manner. Issa, initially fuelled by thoughts of revenge, sets out in search of the horse his father is said to have stolen and stumbles upon what appears to be his true calling along the way.
