Summer Hours

The second film to be produced by the Musée d’Orsay (after La Voyage du Ballon Rouge), this family drama brings three siblings together to celebrate their mother’s 75th birthday. At the gathering their mother makes it known that she wants her art collection to be preserved in a museum after her death, leaving the siblings to reminisce about their childhoods as preparations are made to fulfil this request.
