BFI Film Academy craft skills residential course, delivered by the National Film and Television School, is a two-week residential course for 66 young people running over the Easter holidays in 2017.

About the BFI Film Academy
As a student of the Film Academy, you will gain invaluable experience working alongside industry professionals who are respected practitioners in their field. You will be offered hands-on filmmaking experience which will help you to develop practical knowledge and skills. You’ll be able to explore your own creativity and passions in a supportive and dynamic environment.
What’s more, you could also apply for one of our two intensive residential programmes. Courses last between one and two weeks and are designed to develop more specialist filmmaking skills. You will work closely with leading industry professionals who will give you a unique insight into the filmmaking business and guide you along the way.

The BFI Film Academy forms part of the BFI’s overall 5-19 Education Scheme. The programme is being supported by the Department for Education in England who have committed £1m per annum funding from April 2012 until 31 March 2016. It is also funded through the National Lottery, Creative Scotland and Northern Ireland Screen.
The BFI Film Academy speaks to strategic priority one as set out in the BFI’s Film Forever plan.
