This programme is an ongoing calendar of events funded by City Bridge. It includes illustrated talks and tours, selections from the current BFI programme and a series of free screenings that include contributions from a Seniors programme steering group.

The BFI Seniors Programme hosts a two year Shared Learning Project with the University of the Third Age (U3A).

Year 1 Adventures in the Mediatheque

A group of U3A learners spent a six month part-time residency at the BFI researching the Mediatheque's 'public access to the archives' collections. In Adventures in the Mediatheque [Link to PDF] they offer a personal response to focused interpretation of films they discovered.

Year 2

The Shared Learning Project aims to explore the Mediatheque collections under the broad heading of the East End on Film.
