British Universities Film & Video Council (BUFVC)

BUFVC promotes the study, use and production of film, television and related media for further/higher education and research. It maintains a specialist Information Service and publishes books and a magazine, Viewfinder. The Council runs conferences and seminars, provides consultancy services for further/higher education institutions, and can provide video copies of broadcast television programmes (going back to June 1998) to licensed institutions.

Undertakes consultancy services, organises courses and research for a range of agencies, industry bodies and LEAs and supports classroom research and school based production work. Runs an MA module Introduction to Media Education within the MA programme of the Institute of Education.
