Ronald Colman (1891-1958)

Although born in England, Colman made his name in mainly American films. He starred in various romance and adventure films during the silent period but his beautiful speaking voice and dashing good looks made him an even bigger star when the talkies arrived. A huge hit with women, his films also appealed to men. Films include Bulldog Drummond (1929), Lost Horizon (1937), Random Harvest (1942).
