Judy Garland (1922-1969)

Garland was on stage at a very young age and soon attracted interest from Hollywood moguls. It was her starring role in The Wizard of Oz (1939) that really shot her to fame. As well as acting, she developed her own distinctive singing style and toured up until her death.
