Cary Grant (1904-1986)

Born in England he toured the country in pantomime and stage acrobatics from the age of 14. Once in America, he moved into films working with some of the top stars and directors of the 1930s-1960s, including Hitchcock, Mae West and Katharine Hepburn. His charm and comic timing made him hugely popular with audiences of all ages.
