One of Pakistani cinema's biggest ever hits, Mujhe Chand Chahiye is a Bollywood style love story. A young man based abroad returns to Pakistan when he falls in love with the picture of a woman in a magazine. He tracks her down eventually but his life is turned upside down when he finds out that the woman of his dreams might be his sister. The film is notable for its slick visual style that is inspired from recent Bollywood films. The charismatic star and director Shaan's popularity was enhanced by this film. As a director he proves that he has visual flairs. The MTV style editing during the songs also proved to be enormously popular in Pakistan.
