How can we see more of the original footage from The Open Road?
A digitally restored compilation of highlights from the film is screening at the National Film Theatre and other venues in 2006.
Much of the original material can be viewed online on the BBC History website.

Will the material be available on DVD?
The BBC series The Lost World of Friese-Greene is available on DVD from the bfi.
The DVD contains extended interviews with participants, and cinematographer Jack Cardiff.
We plan to release other bfi DVDs of the material - release date to be confirmed.
