Ducking and diving on the streets of Peckham with the infamous Trotters. Driving force of the family Derek (Del Boy) is a wide-boy wheeler dealer with an eye for a quick buck; his younger brother Rodney follows in his footsteps but yearns for a more conventional life. Dominated by David Jason's awesome performance as Del, this long-running sitcom was superbly scripted by John Sullivan, who can raise a lump in viewers' throats as well as providing lots of laughs.
