Synopsis

TV play by David Mercer. Second part of a trilogy concerning Marxist novelist Robert Kelvin. Volubin a friend of Kelvin's meets a Countess, who still lives happily in her East European mansion, ignoring the new regime. On the eve of an important Communist Party banquet they talk about their past lives.
