Film details

The story is based on the true exploits of the Barrow gang, who ran riot through the mid-West of the Depression era until the leaders, Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, were ambushed and shot to death by police in 1934. The other gang members included Buck Barrow, Clyde's brother, and his wife Blanche, as well as getaway car driver C.W. Moss. Bonnie and Clyde became folk heroes of sorts, a mythical status perpetuated by the letters and poems written by Bonnie to newspapers at the time of their `reign'.
