Synopsis

In 1910, The Count Hector de Clérambard, is ruined and is obliged to kill cats and dogs on his estate to get something to eat. But after the visitation of 'Saint François d'Assise', and the miracle of resurrection over the dog he just killed, the Count amends himself and will live an exemplary life. Based on a comedy by Marcel Aymé.
