Doctor Dolittle (1967)

In this charming family film, Rex Harrison plays a man who can converse with all kinds of creatures.
Doctor John Dolittle is a Victorian animal doctor who has an amazing ability to talk to and understand all birds and creatures. This ambitious musical was well known at the time for going hugely over budget and featuring a cast largely made up of unruly performing animals, but it's best to enjoy this magical family tale at face value.
