Mods & Rockers (1965)

Film details

Synopsis

Two dance performances by the Western Theatre Ballet - 'Non Stop' and 'Mods and Rockers' - based around early 1960s pop music and teenage courtship. Musical backing, by beat group The Cheynes, featuring Mick Fleetwood on drums, interpolates instrumental cover versions of songs written by The Beatles. The first performance takes place in a set that resembles a coffee bar; the second takes place in a set that resembles a church crypt.
