A man in a Japanese P.O.W. camp is deeply influenced by the example of a comrade. Back in Civvy Street he starts a club to help those in need. He is determined to attain God's greatest gift, the Holy Spirit. When he inherits a run-down business he becomes so immersed in it that he loses contact with the club. He discovers, however, that success is not just a material thing.
