Synopsis

Examines the present state of British industry and considers whether the class structure of an average factory has any bearing on its poor performance. Shows the changes that have taken place within the firm of Tannoy Ltd. of Coatbridge, Scotland, where the traditional differentials between workers, office staff and management have been demolished. Contrasts their situation with the situation in a factory where the traditional ways still apply. Intended for junior and senior management and business studies.
