About the sexually transmitted 'killer' disease called AIDS, Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome, which was first diagnosed among the male homosexual population of Greenwich Village in New Yorkin the early 1980s and has spread to diverse groups in America. Meets AIDS victims and observes the nature of the disease and the effect on sufferers' lives. The work of medical investigators in the States tracing the spread of the disease and searching for its still unknown causes and cure is also featured
