Film details


Film set in Ireland at the end of the 18th century, about the loyal servant and friend of Irish rebel hero, Robert Emmet. Anne Devlin was captured and imprisoned because of Emmet who was an Irish revolutionary and involved in the Republican uprising of 1803. Despite the threat of execution, she remained loyal to her master, and refused to inform on fellow conspirators, even when they turned against her.
