Synopsis

Based on the orchestral work by Cristobal Halffter, written in homage to the Spanish poets, Antonio Machado, Miguel Hernandez and Federico Garcia Lorca. Uses images from the poets' lives, the Spanish Civil War and paintings by Picasso and Goya intercut with footage of a performance of the work. Includes computer animation and electronic techniques to create an audio-visual extension of the original work.
