Right On! (1970)

Film details

A 'conspiracy of ritual, street theatre, soul music and cinema', this documentary is a compelling record of radical Black sentiment in 1960s America. Shot guerrilla-style in lower Manhattan, it features a performance from the legendary Last Poets. It was described by its producer as the first 'totally black film.'
