Synopsis

Looks at the career of General Alexander Haig, U.S. Secretary of State, examining the important role he played in the secret bombing of neutral Cambodia during the Vietnam War, his involvement in the American financing of secret operations in Chile against the govermment of President Allende and the part he played in the final months of the Nixon administration. Also reports on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearings.
