Andrew Sachs returns to Berlin, two years after his previous visit to look at his native Berlin and the Wall. He sees how the city's people are coping with the momentous changes since his last visit, and finds optimism and uncertainty on both sides of the old divide. He revisits members of his family, who are hopeful about the future of the city, and he tracks down the East German government "minder" who accompanied him on his last trip, to find she is now running a free and easy Western-style talk show.
