A group of wealthy New York families all find that they have been duped by a young black man who calls himself Paul. By spinning various tales, including one where he claims to be Sidney Poitier's son, Paul - black, gay and from the underclass - manages to inveigle himself into various wealthy homes, eat their food and sleep in their beds.
