Documentary investigating the background and details to the murder of black civil rights leader Medgar Evers in the 1960s. It looks at the man believed to be responsible for the murder, a Ku Klux Klan man and white supremacist, who stood trial in the past but was acquitted, and includes interviews with him. It also looks at the court cases and evidence against him, and the politically racist system in Mississippi that led to his acquittal, including tampering with the jury to ensure that they would all be sympathetic to the accused. Also, Medgar Evers widow is interviewed and she tells of her long struggle for justice and the conviction of the man she believes murdered her husband.
