Film details


A drama documentary on Lord Reith, first Director General of the BBC whose regime shaped the image of the Corporation for many years. He now returns to life to assess the debate surrounding the BBC's charter renewal and to consider to what extent Reithian values have survived. He also considers the changes in `Radio Times'. Among the witnesses he encounters are historian Asa Briggs and John Drummond, director of BBC Promenade Concerts.
