The final programme in a four-part series about the restructuring of London Zoo. Late in 1991, the battle for the organisation's future is about to begin. David Jones, the zoo's director-general and Colin Tudge, his leading opponent in the reform group work on their plans for the zoo's future. As Christmas approaches the tension mounts. One of the zoo's two koalas falls sick and is nursed round the clock by her keeper. Meanwhile, the director-general waits for a telephone call that will announce his fate.
