Twice a week planes fly into Paris from Tahiti, French Polynesia, transporting radiation victims for treatment in Paris hospitals - young men under 30 with cancer, and other illnesses bearing the tell-tele signs of exposure to radiation. The French have been testing their nuclear weapons on the tiny atoll Manuoa for 20 years. What has been the impact of these tests? Earlier this year, ITV asked the French government for permission to film in French Polynesia. Access was refused. So, undercover as tourists, the director and producer went to film covertly.
