Synopsis

The second programme in a five-part series combining wildlife footage with drama and documentary exploring the fundamental relationship between man and nature across the Pacific Ocean. Explores Fiji, where land-based Melanesian culture merged with that of the ocean-going Polynesians and where man and nature spread eastwards into the South Seas.
