Based on the novel by Lynne Reid Banks. The story of a boy who is given a toy native American Indian on his ninth birthday by a friend and a wooden cupboard by his brother. He locks the toy in the cupboard and the following day finds the Indian has come alive and is demanding food and tools to make a shelter. When his brother finds out, he wants a living toy of his own and chooses a cowboy...
