Synopsis

Based on the novel by Angela Huth. Follows the exploits of three raw recruits to the Women's Land Army who are sent to work on a remote Dorset farm during World War II. After initial antagonism wanes, an unlikely friendship is formed between the three women, who come from different social backgrounds.
