Synopsis

Documentary about the life and work of New York-based musician Lou Reed, from forming seminal experimental rock band The Velvet Underground in 1965, through their collaboration with artist Andy Warhol, his "glam-rock" solo work in the 1970s, to his present-day poetry reading and avant-garde theatre works. Features interviews and footage of music performances.
